Sdr. Grønkær B&B is located on a disused country estate. The old barn has been carefully renovated with light wooden floors, large windows and a wood-burning stove. The vaulted brick ceilings have been preserved and emphasize the cozy atmosphere. The apartment consists of entrance hall, small bedroom, large kitchen-living room with wood-burning stove, dining area and access to the garden, small toilet with separate shower and large bedroom/family room also with access to the garden. The apartment can be shared by 6 adults (2 in the living room on a sofa bed) and 2 children on extra mattresses or cots (1). The apartment has its own garden with terrace, sandbox and fire pit. There is no TV in the apartment, but there is free wi-fi. There is no washing machine or dryer in the apartment, but it is possible to borrow ours for a fee of DKK 25 (per unit). We live a bit out on the country side, with no walking distance to anything other than fields. In return, there is peace and quiet here and in 20 minutes you can reach most things in either Lemvig or Holstebro.

We are a family of 6 who have lived on the farm (in the main house) since 2012. We run a small hobby farm with our own kitchen garden, free range pigs (only from April to September), chickens, cat and the dog Rita.

The farm is located only 4 km from Bækmarksbro, with good a small grocery store and the Tangsø Centre, which includes fitness, wellness and a heated swimming pool (very child-friendly). In just 15 minutes you can be at the best beach in the area, Høfde Q, in the small cozy town of Fjaltring. The beach is child-friendly and with good parking facilities, toilet facilities, shelters and a wheelchair ramp all the way to the water's edge. And not forgetting a really good, but still unknown, surfer spot. By bike, you can reach Klosterhedens Plantage (a big Forrest) in a few kilometers, which with its many cycling, walking or horse riding routes takes you far and wide in the magnificent nature with the opportunity to experience beavers, birdlife and maybe a wolf. If you are more into shopping and city life, we are well located with only 20 minutes to the area's largest cities. Visit the many good shops in Holstebro, eat an ice cream in the cozy harbor environment in Lemvig or enjoy a delicious dinner with a view of the fjord in Struer.
