You will love this place first because everything in your room has been carefully chosen to be of the best quality and comfort. I like only 100% cotton sheets, duck feathers duvets (that are warm enough for Quito but not as heavy as wood covers), high quality towels. Everything is white, clear and clean. The room has plenty of sunlight at all the times of the day and still I have put a double system of curtains so you will not be seen from the outside if you want to let the light come in and you can close the blackout curtains if you want a long sleep even late in the morning. High speed internet wifi included.You will love to share very large social spaces as the kitchen, the living room and the dinning room with only two more people who are generally between 25 and 40 years old. The kitchen fully equipped will make you feel as if you where at home making your favorite dishes. The fireplace in Quito is very needed (since it can be cold during the night) and great for sharing a nice evening with friends. Cleaning once a weak included. Finally, you will love the atmosphere in the whole building. There are two apartments with the same modality so it is around 9 people sharing togethe
Hi, I am an Ecuadorian university teacher and mom of two girls of 2 and 6 years old.I am 38. I combine my work at home and at the University with the administration of this building that belongs to my family. I speak french, protuguese and english so I love to communicate and to meet people from around the world. I know a lot about history and culture in Ecuador so I can be a good reference for you all regarding where to go or how to learn in Ecuador. I also know a lot about producers and traders of fair and organic products and second hand products so I can also be a good reference on that
The building is located in the best place of Quito. You will be located at a walking distance to the old historic downtown Quito, only two blocks away from the artistic and cultural neighborhood of La Floresta (which has an independent cinema, plenty of cafes and artists shops and an organic market every friday) and two blocks away from the Plaza Foch, a great place to go out for a drink or to dance. It has a large supermarket just crossing the street from the building.
