We've been complimented on our decor which is a mix of classic British style with a French twist. The style is clean and modern but we've used many pieces of traditional French furniture. The en suite bathroom has a unique style which we're sure you'll love! To make you feel at home and to welcome you to our region, we offer all our guests a complimentary bottle of local wine. For non drinkers and for essential refreshment in the hot months, a bottle of chilled water

Badens is part of a rural French commune. It has a historic church and wine producers, outside the Mairie is an EV charging point. There is a junior school, a petanque pitch and beautiful walks through almond trees and olive groves just 5 minutes away. CYCLISTS - ask us about our taylor made secure, dry storage for bicycles and the welcome we offer under the Acceuil Velo scheme The gite itself is situated in the heart of this vibrant village and close enough to the boulangerie to smell the croissants baking! Guests enjoy the table and chairs in the courtyard to enjoy a breakfast from the village bakery. There you can find traditional delicious pastries such as croissants and pain au chocolate as well as goods to enjoy for a picnic - quiches, sandwiches and tartelettes. We are well placed to explore the area, nestled in beautiful vineyards for the local Minervois wine and only 15 minutes from the historic UNESCO World Heritage site of Carcassonne. If you fancy a day on the Med, beaches are just an hour away. There is plenty of free street parking just 2 minutes walk from the gite
