Love the Languedoc area. Enjoy the beach at Serignan, and the river Orb near Cessenon; visiting the many amazing historical sites in the area such as, Pont du Gard, Montpellier, Pezenas, Minerve, Nimes, Narbonne, the other Cathar sites etc. and the 7 locks on the Canal du Midi; enjoy the variety of good restaurants nearby (our own favourite is the Auberge du Presbytere but there are so many including the fantastic oyster restaurants in Bouzigues); and always ensure we visit a handful of wine domaines to taste their wines and to stock up.
The history especially the Cathars.
You are in the middle of the world's biggest vineyard.
Pezenas market is tremendous.
It's great after dinner just to relax with a glass of wine or even go for a walk around the streets of Magalas.
