Newly refurbished INDEPENDANT studio in Montparnasse, just above the Raspail metro station, direct to all railway stations and airports (RER B, M 4, 6 & 12, Bus 91). We live in the apartment next door and can give you advice and tips on Paris if you wish so. The studio is on the 5th floor with no elevator, you will get used quickly but if you have big suitcases we can help you. The view is amazing, with great sunsets and no one above. One 160cm large bed or two 80cm beds, just tell us before. We leave tea, coffee capsules, pasta, sugar and rice, as well as all you need for cooking. The supermarket around the corner is opened until 9pm. The Luxembourg Garden is only a few minutes walk away.
The studio includes everything you need - do not hesitate if you have a special request : - a double bed (2x80cmx200cm) with separable beds if you wish. The mattresses and the bed are new and high quality, as well as the bed linen. The blackout curtains will protect you from the morning light. - a wardrobe with hangers and shelves - a kitchen with microwave, fridge, hob, kettle, coffee machine and some stocks for breakfast, tea and dinner - a bathroom with saniflow toilets, a shower cabin, a sink and a towel dryer - a table with two stools, to eat or work - an iron and an ironing board - some travel books that will give you ideas for your next destination :) The space is about 16 sq mt (3m by 5,5m), and the window overlooks the very quiet Boulevard Raspail, with double glazing. The view is beautiful, as well to wake up as to admire the sunset on the tower, or the light of the Eiffel Tower that illuminates the night of Paris. The studio is situated on the 5th floor without elevator and is very well isolated from the apartments around.
Many Artists lived Rue Campagne Première, from Rimbaud to Picasso, and there are many museums and parks around : - 100m away, the Cartier foundation, the Giacometti foundation, the Cimetière du Montparnasse - 500m away, the Catacombs, the Musée Bourdelle, the Jardin du Luxembourg and the Musée du Luxembourg - Walking distance from Saint-Germain and Ile de la Cité (30mn), direct to all parisian spots with many metro, bus and RER stations around Getting around The subway is at the foot of the building: - line 6 : direct to the Eiffel Tower (20mn), Trocadero or Etoile (25mn) - Line 4 (Saint Germain 10 minutes, Ile de la Cité (15 mn), Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est 5mn walk : - RER B, direct to Roissy or Orly airport and Gare du Nord (15mn) - OrlyBus - Bus Line 91 Express for Gare de Lyon - line 12 to Gare Saint-Lazare or Montmartre
