We are building a gîte complex here at Figtrees. This is the first room and bathroom complete, but there is plenty of work still going on around you. Margueron is a small village with a local shop and an auberge, a restaurant within walking distance through the woods. The nearby town of Sainte Foy La Grande has a weekly market on Saturday that is one of the best in the region. The town is right on the banks of the Dordogne river and has a good selection of shops and restaurants to choose from.
