Welcome to Pyrenees View our large, 50m2, 1st floor, centrally heated, apartment which is part of an ancient barn, converted in 2023. It offers a peaceful location with mature wooded gardens & stunning views of The Pyrénées mountains, lots of free onsite parking and a shared 12x6m swimming pool during the summer months. If you want to relax, hike, ski or cycle we are the place for you. The apartment is fully self contained, with its own entrance and the price includes breakfast (please see below) plus 100% cotton bedding, towels, soap, shampoo, flat screen smart TV and free Wi-Fi. Walk (30 mins) or drive (4 minutes) to town. We are just off the A64/E80, an hour’s drive from the ancient city of Toulouse and its airport and less than an hour from Tarbes airport, 40 minutes to Spain and 2 ski resorts. VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to stairs, NOT suitable for guests with mobility issues. The gite can accommodate up to 4 people, maximum 3 adults and 1 child in 1 double bed 140x190cm and 2 folding single beds (80 and 90 x190cm) or 1 cot and 1 folding bed (90x190cm). The folding guest beds and cots are available on request 24 hours before arrival and are situated in the same room as the double bed, there is an extra charge for the folding beds. The apartment comprises a large open plan area with fully fitted kitchen, bedroom, dining and lounge areas with an en-suite shower room. It is a lovely airy space with ceilings over 3m high & exposed oak beams. The kitchen includes a tall fridge freezer, washing machine, microwave & gas cooker, as well as all the usual kitchen items that you may need. On arrival you will find the following breakfast items in your room:- fresh bread, jam, butter, assorted teas, coffee, milk, hot chocolate, fruit juice, fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt & pain au chocolat.
For cyclists, skiers etc we offer free safe internal storage for bikes, skis etc as well as a drying area. For guests travelling with a trailer, caravan etc there is plenty of free onsite parking. For those who need to work there is a desk with views of the mountains and high-speed fibre. There are books, English, board games, a dart board, a fussball table and even an elyptical trainer in the area below the gite which you are most welcome to use. The mature garden and woodland, which is available to guests. offers a tranquil place to relax in the day and evening. Guests have a table, chairs, sun loungers and a BBQ. To save you shopping as soon as you arrive, we offer welcome packs. If you would like details just message us, we need one week’s notice. SORRY - no pets. We live in the attached house so we are here to help if you need us. We have a variety of good shops, dentists, doctors and a hospital within a 6 minute drive but as we arent in the centre of town we have the countryside in our garden, if you want to see nature look no further as we have birds of prey, red squirrels, badgers, hedgehogs and deer, amongst others, in the garden! There are a large number of local events, many free and we have a large local market in town every Thursday. We hope that you come to see us and fall in love with the area, as we have done.
