Located 50 meters from the magnificent Sables Blancs beach, Hôtel Valdys Thalasso & Spa - l'Escale marine is the ideal place to spend a pleasant, peaceful stay in Douarnenez. Freshly renovated in spring 2024, our hotel offers comfortable, functional rooms just a stone's throw from the beach. Family Suites are designed to accommodate up to 4 people, making them the perfect choice for vacations with family or friends. As for our double rooms, they are perfectly suited to couples or solo travelers. Connected by an underground passageway to the Thalassotherapy & Spa center, our establishment offers privileged access to the Marine Spa at attractive rates (€22 per day per person). This includes a seawater pool heated to 31°C, two whirlpools, a hammam, a sauna, a gym and a rest room with a breathtaking sea view. To make the most of this experience, please remember to bring your swimsuit (shorts not allowed), bathing cap and flip-flops. Water and land sports courses are available on request, at an additional cost. For a complete getaway, book one of our treatments and treat yourself to a moment of relaxation in the expert hands of our Valdys teams. Gourmets will appreciate our Aromatik restaurant, with its panoramic view over the Bay of Douarnenez. Our creative, refined and gourmet French cuisine features fresh, local produce, especially seafood. We also offer dishes adapted to special diets on request. At breakfast, you can choose from a varied buffet of fresh local produce, to be enjoyed in the restaurant or on the terrace overlooking the beach in summer. Situated at the foot of the GR34 hiking trail, our hotel is ideally located for exploring the magnificent wild walks and beaches of the Bay of Douarnenez on foot. Nearby, the famous town of Locronan, the old center of Quimper and Ile Tristan invite you to take a trip away from it all.

Check-in and check-out take place at an off-site reception situated at 42 bis rue des Professeurs Curie 29100 Douarnenez. This reception is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
