Thorley is a very safe area with beautiful surroundings and views, great place to cycle and go on lovely walks from. Yarmouth town is only a 5 minute drive or 35 minute walk away where there is various pubs and restaurants serving a variety of great food. There is also a convenience store, bakery, Deli and shops to look around, with the harbour and Wightlink boat terminal located there. There are beautiful safe bathing beaches found in Totland and Colwell bay which is a 10 minute drive away, in Yarmouth there is also the Sandhard where there a few BBQ areas overlooking the harbour. There are 2 bus stops at the top of the road which go in both directions, one towards Newport (which is central on the island) and the other towards Yarmouth and Freshwater. All parking is safe and secure in the farm area with your own private driveway. The cottage is a 5 minute drive away from the Wightlink Ferry Yarmouth crossing, and only a 30 minute drive away from the East cowes and Fishbourne ferry crossings.
