Burnside Lodge has sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Portnahaven, 1.6 km from Port Bhaigh Beach. Boasting bicycle parking, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Guests can make use of a terrace. All units at the bed and breakfast come with a seating area. There is a private bathroom with shower in every unit, along with bathrobes, a hair dryer and free toiletries. At the bed and breakfast, the units have bed linen and towels. As an added convenience, the bed and breakfast offers packed lunches for guests to bring on excursions and other trips off-property. Guests can also relax in the garden. The Burnside Lodge Team - Kate, Tilly & Ruby
Burnside Lodge is a two-room bed and breakfast located in the quiet village of Port Wemyss on the South Western tip of the Isle of Islay. While parts of the house are nearly as old as the village itself, the guest rooms in the newer part both have double aspect views of the Rhinns lighthouse designed and built by Robert Stevenson in 1825. The island of Orsay seen from the windows is the year-round home to the local population of common and grey seals, who can be heard singing across the water on calm days. Please note: Burnside Lodge is not suitable unless you have your own transport (two wheels or four) due to the remote (but beautiful) location.
