Located in Norton Park, Dartmouth Our Devon holiday lets are situated in Norton Park and is an attractive site close to Dartmouth town with views over the surrounding countryside and the river Dart. Light, open and spacious, there is plenty of outdoor space for games or sitting quietly in the sunshine. Ideally situated for exploring the South Hams Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Norton Park is also close to the town of Dartmouth with its shops and restaurants, and the famous naval college. Take a boat trip from Dartmouth up the river to visit Agatha Christie’s holiday home at Greenway (National Trust) or take the ferry across to Kingswear for a steam train ride to Paignton. At the mouth of the river stands Dartmouth Castle (English Heritage) offering a fascinating trip back in time. Enjoy the views out to sea over a coffee and a slice of cake from the neighbouring café and then stride out on the coast path for stunning coastal scenery and access to some quiet rocky coves. Further afield is the sandy cove of Blackpool Sands with plenty of parking and amenities, and Slapton Sands where WW2 troops trained in preparation for the D-Day landings. No car? No problem – the Totnes to Dartmouth bus stops at Norton Park, and the Dartmouth to Plymouth bus takes the scenic route past Blackpool Sands and Slapton, and stopping at many other points of interest on its way to Plymouth. With the steam train and the boats from Dartmouth, this area really can be explored without a car.

We love Dartmouth - we really do. I first came here when I was about 4 years old and after a few family holidays in my formative years I did not return until 2014. Since then I have fallen in love with the area. The South Hams has so much to offer, you have the sea, beaches, river, boats, walking, horse riding, golf - not to mention the amazing scenery. Alongside all of this there is an incredible food scene, with fresh fish, Crab and Lobster, awesome restaurants and amazing cafe's there is something here for everyone. I also love shopping (unusual for a bloke) and the towns on the South Hams and along the coast have awesome small and interesting shops to browse around all day i highly recommend Salcombe nearby for a day trip. For those who want history there are four castles in the area, the best and coolest of these is Dartmouth Castle where you can have amazing coffee while sitting looking out to sea. Its a 1.5 mile walk from Dartmouth and doable for most people. We started buying cottages at Norton Park in 2019, we have renovated some to higher standards to show people you really can live in style whilst on holiday park.
