Both of these stations have a well connected Tube connections to anywhere you wish to go in London. You can be in the center of London in less than 20 mins and enjoy London central without paying a hefty fee for accommodation. You can also easily catch trains to and from Gatwick Airport in 35-40 mins. Each morning, you can start your day with a continental or cooked breakfast (charges may apply). Several charming local cafés, a proper English pub (The Railway), and a well-known Italian restaurant with a reasonably priced menu and great reviews and A local Co-Op supermarket are within 5 mins walk from my property, breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
