Shawbost beach 1/2 a mile away. Forgebraehead has 1 B&B room, shared bathroom & lounge with access to the kitchen/ dining area. Tea & coffee making facilities in the room & a light breakfast is offered. Please do not book if you are allergic to/ don't like animals. Please do not bring pets or children, this is an adult only household. 2 large dogs live here. No bookings for guests who will be in & out during the night time/ early mornings this is our home and quiet hours must be observed.
We have off street parking for guests, marked by 'visitors parking' signs on the driveway. There are buses, you can walk or cycle. There's a car park either end of the beach. This is our family home there will always be someone available to welcome, help or advise guests.
House Rules: - Early check in (twenty pound) and late check out fees (twenty pound/Person/hour) apply to all guests who do not respect check in/ out times. - No pets (not even in vehicles on the grounds). - No children.
- Keep communal areas clean and tidy. - No smoking on the premises or the grounds.
- No drugs on the premises or the grounds. - No wet suits/ surf boards or Kayaks in the house.
- Take shoes off once you enter the house. - Quiet hours from 11pm – 7am
- No bookings for night photographers or Bird watchers (entering/ leaving during quiet hours.
- No access to croft at any time. - No feeding animals. - No releasing animals.
- Notify owners of any breakages or spills. - Shut doors & gates.
**Guests may not spend the whole day in the house and must vacate 10am - 5pm for cleaning of communal areas, our work commitments & insurance purposes. This is not a hotel with open doors all day. Someone is always home from 5pm to 10am the following day but guests cannot remain in the house without the owners presence.
Finding us: Using the postcode will bring you to the Shore Rd, N. Shawbost. Satnav is inaccurate here (takes you too far along) so look for the 2nd house on the left, turquoise wall.
