A five minute walk from the property will take you to Kirriemuir town centre, full of red sandstone houses and tiny cobbled lanes. The town hosts numerous cafes, restaurants and shops to explore. The lane beside the property leads to The Den, a beautiful green space with a burn running through it. Its a great place for a walk, or a picnic at the play park. Known as the ‘Gateway to the Glens’, Kirriemuir is the perfect base for exploring the Angus region. There is also a 18-hole golf course 1.5 miles from the property. Author of Peter Pan, J.M. Barrie was born in Kirriemuir, as was AC/DC frontman Bon Scott, statues of both Bon and Peter Pan can be found in the town. There is free on street parking available. Please note this is public parking and therefore is first come, first served. A taxi rank is located on Bank Street. Local buses service the surrounding towns as well as Dundee, timetables can be found online. There are a number on EV charge points located in the town.
