The hut contains a fully-equipped kitchen with fridge freezer, microwave/oven and a ceramic induction hob – the perfect spot to cook up some of the delicious local produce on offer from Northumberland. You’ll have everything you need on hand, with crockery, glassware and plasticware for use outside to enjoy stunning al fresco dining or a tasty meal indoors by the warmth of the wood-burning stove as twilight falls across the landscape. The hut contains a comfy king size bed with fluffy duvet and soft, deep pillows with black out blinds to ensure a good night’s sleep for the discerning traveller. The hut also has a well-appointed bathroom boasting a full-size shower, along with a sink with vanity cupboard and toilet. Step outside onto your own private decked area, complete with a log burning hot tub for two, a dining table and chairs and relaxed seating when you can simply sit back and enjoy the amazing views. The best bit, the hot tub! This can be pre-lit free of charge ready for your arrival, so all you need to do is drop your bags, grab the luxury fluffy robe and bring a chilled bottle of fizz to while away some time on a golden summer evening, or as the snow falls across the landscape. The hot tub takes between 1 – 1.5 hours to heat so is really convenient for your use throughout your stay. There’s also a solo stove fire pit for anyone looking for an authentic alfresco cooking and dining experience. Dip in and out of the tub while you griddle beautiful fresh food in the heart of the Northumberland countryside.

The Fox's Den is situated in Ponteland within rural Northumberland. It has stunning views of the surrounding countryside. It is 2 miles from the local shops in Darras Hall and just over 3 miles to Ponteland Village. Astoundingly its only 9 miles to Newcastle City Centre. There is a whole host of things to do in the local area from top quality restaurants to the highlights of the city centre. Not forgetting the Metro Centre 6.5miles! There are some amazing walks in the surrounding area, not to mention Hadrians Wall which is a must see if you love to get out and about in nature! Or choose to simply relax and enjoy the stunning views while sipping champagne in the wood fired hot tub!
