    Great location close walking distance to Margate train station, bus stop a few yards away, the front of the hotel faces the seafront across the road, and it's just a short walk to Margate harbour area

Property information

The accommodation is ideally located opposite the beach and a 5 minute walk from Margate Old Town. A beautifully decorated room in a stunning Victorian home, with the added bonus of a view onto a peaceful garden. On leaving the front door you will be greeted with a view overlooking Margate beach with a panoramic view which brings in the beach and the pier; a beautiful spot to view the marvellous sunsets. If you are looking for accommodation with access to private outside areas, this is ideal for you, as the accommodation includes shared access to a sheltered private walled garden, which on sunny days, enjoys sunshine from dawn to dusk. If you have a bicycle you also have access to a secure bike shelter, where you can lock your bicycle during your stay. The room is at the rear of the house on the 1st floor overlooking the garden. It is quiet and peaceful. This double room is an ideal retreat with thick walls and no sounds from neighbours, as the house is detached. You have the use of a full fitted modern en-suite bathroom ad tea and coffee making facilities.

Neighbourhood information

The room is on the 1st floor of a 1879 detached Victorian property. The balcony overlooks the beach and the tidal pool where you can go for an early morning dip. This is an ideal location, as it's a 2 minute walk from Dreamland, 5 minute walk to the Old Town, whilst being well away from the hustle and bustle of the Margate holiday community. If you arrive by car there is plenty of free parking around the roads by the property and car park opposite. If you arrive by public transport; Train, Coach or Bus those stops are literally a 2 minute walk to the house. Opposite the house is a lovely beach venue made up of independent traders. There is a sundeck bar, where music is played throughout the day and up until 9pm. There are also restaurants and a bus café. A bar has just opened called the Shakespeare which is 100m down the road which has developed a very warm and welcoming atmosphere with great views over the sea, The areas is safe and all the Margate people are welcoming and friendly.
