Beautiful hand built Shepherds Hut located in it's own private garden. The accommodation comprises of a main living area with pull out table and two chairs for dining, kitchen with Belfast sink, fridge, 2 ring hob, cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils. Built in double bed with large storage area underneath for luggage, radio and CD player and feature electric stove with living flame effect fire. There is a separate shower room with corner shower, wash basin and toilet. We provide 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels, ,bath robes shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Tea, coffee, a Nespresso machine, milk (or alternative if required), home made scones jam and butter are provided. We can deliver a Full English Breakfast (veggie option available) please see details on booking confirmation. An evening meal is also available, menu options are also provided with booking confirmation. A hut with padlock is provided to store coats, walking boots, etc. Parking is available at the bottom of our drive. Dogs are welcome on request and we provide towels, feeding bowls etc which can be found in the drying hut. We have a wood burning hot tub which is available for an extra charge. We do ask for a minimum of 48 hours notice if you would like to use this facility, in which case it will be heated and ready for your arrival.

The Sheepwash Shepherds Hut is situated close to The River Wansbeck in the picturesque hamlet of Sheepwash, Northumberland. The historic market town of Morpeth is a 30 minute drive away, with it's eclectic mix of shops, coffee houses and restaurants. Alnwick Castle and Gardens are again a 30 minute drive away and Alnwick Treehouse and restaurant is well worth a visit being the largest treetop building of it's kind in the world, with two wobbly rope bridges, roaring log fires in the cooler months and sun soaked decking in summer. The nearby North East Coast is among the country's most rugged and charming. Visit Bamburgh Castle, Craster for it's famous kippers, see the puffins on The Farne Islands and experience exhilarating horse riding on the beach at Holy Island.
