The Swan at Grasmere- The Inn Collection Group has recently been refurbished and features en-suite rooms, 2 bars and a beer garden overlooking the fells. The center of Grasmere is within a 10-minute walk. Mentioned by Wordsworth in his poem “The Waggoner”, The Swan is tucked beneath the dramatic fells surrounding timeless Grasmere village in the Lake District. Perfectly placed to welcome walkers, outdoor lovers or for catching up with friends and family, discover The Swan in one of the loveliest spots in the Lakes. Set in the Lake District National Park, all of the rooms at the 17th-century Swan Hotel have tea/coffee facilities and TV's and desks. Some rooms have fell or garden views. The Bar features a fireplace, local ales and a traditional menu of dishes. With its fine selection of local real ales, wide choice of wines and spirits, freshly brewed teas and coffees, throw in stunning views and a welcoming, relaxed interior, The Swan is a delight to enjoy a eat and drink in. Ambleside is 5 miles from the property, and Windermere is 9 miles away.
