The Clifton Bed & Breakfast combines great customer service and excellent facilities to ensure Guests have a really positive experience when staying with us. Awarded Four Stars Silver by Visit England, the Best Guest house 2016 South Tyneside & Wearside in the WOW 24/7 Awards, plus Bronze for Best Small Boutique Hotel 2016 in The North East Tourism Awards and Best Hotels 2020 you can be confident the Clifton is the right choice for accommodation in South Shields. Having gone through an extensive investment programme, The Clifton has expanded and now offers 26 en-suite guest rooms. We have focused on the important things that matter: Comfortable beds, a pressurised hot water system to provide an invigorating shower and two networks to provide Free High speed WiFi access, so you can always stay connected! Of course we have not overlooked the other details such as fresh and modern decor, complimentary beverage trays and toiletries plus most rooms have Smart TVs so you can stream media or surf the net. Breakfast is available for guests. Even if you have reserved a room only deal you can still purchase breakfast in the coffeeshop. Breakfast is served in our very own Coffee shop. The Coffee shop is open 7 days a week, Mon-Sat until 4pm & Sun until 2pm. You can enjoy drinks, snacks, lunch, a cheeky cake or our popular Afternoon Tea. We will happily reserve you a table If the weather is good you can even dine alfresco in our outdoor seating area which can be a real sun trap! The Library & Drawing Room are sumptuous spaces which can be hired out for meetings and private functions. If you are travelling by car you will find that there is ample Free parking without restrictions in the vicinity which is a real bonus.
