There are few things that make our guesthouse a favorite choice for travellers. We are situated close to most hiking trails so you don't have to cross an entire town. Our beautiful meadow with fruit trees, view of snow covered mountains and towers will make a perfect place to relax. You can also camp out and enjoy this quite part of Mestia. We will provide breakfast and dinner which unite both low price and good quality. We will help you with transport to Ushguli, Ushba waterfalls and other places in Svaneti. In our place you will meet backpackers, climbers , seasoned travelers from all over the world. It will be helpful to learn about hiking routes around Mestia and Svaneti in general.
My name is Manoni Ratiani and I am inviting travellers to Svaneti for more than 10 years.
If you arrive to Mestia before 12 noon you can hike to Chalaadi Glacier (6 hours of easy walk in both directions). Longer day will take up to the Cross Outlook (above Mestia) or further to Koruldi Lakes. Even if you are not planning long Mestia-Ushguli trek you can still walk 2-3 hours of it's starting section. In good weather views are incredible including Ushba, Chalaadi Glacier and high alpine meadows. Start this walk after breakfast (before clouds and heat arrive) from wood cottages just above our guesthouse.
