The centre of the village has two minimarkets, as well as the noted taverna ‘Rosa’s’ - a favourite amongst the Santorini locals. The village provides a peaceful, timely atmosphere yet its location is very convenient for moving around the island. Fira is only a short trip away (3.2km), and the airport (7km) and ferry port (10km) are easily accessible by car, bus or taxi. Other hot spots such as the Black Beach (10km) and Oia (11km) are all within reach either by bus or car. The village also sits just below Imerovigli (1.5km), where you’ll have access to some of Santorini’s most famous views, including the caldera and Skaros rock.
