Hi there, I am Vaggelis and with my wife Stavroula, we are the owners of a beautiful house in the traditional village of Velonades. When we bought this property we dreamed to build a unique suite with Jacuzzi and balcony in the square of the village, giving the opportunity to guests have, what we say in our country, holidays in a village. After a full renovation, now our suite is available for rent. Goninos Jacuzzi Suite is a spacious, well-equipped and air-conditioned suite, located in the square of Velonades village. There are two levels in the house, the first one consists of a large bedroom equipped with a double and a single bed, jacuzzi and smart Tv. As well as a modern kitchen and a spacious living room with sofa that can easily be turned into a comfortable double bed. Stairs lead to the other level which consist of a wc, shower room and a loundry room. Furthermore guests are able to relax and enjoy their drinks and food at the houses private garden. I have lived all my summer holidays of my childhood in a house only 50m from this Suite. Katsantonis Luxury House is available for rent and gives the opportunity to guests who want to spend their holidays together to combine them.
Goninos Jacuzzi Suite is located in Velonades, a small and traditional village in north Corfu. It is about 31km from city center and 3km from Sidari. If you want to explore the village you can do hiking or cycling. In Velonades there is a small folklore museum with old tools and household items. Furthermore, the village has an old oil mill of 1900 with tools of that time and the large millstones which were used to crush the olives. Two old but very impressive mansions which are maintained can be found in the area, one in good condition and the other is in ruins, these are the mansion of Makris and the mansion of Mariena. Very close to the suite (500m) you can find a grill house and a local Cafe in which you can enjoy refreshmen drinks and ice creams.
