Enjoy a unique stay at this centrally-located guest apartment on the historic Kali Strata. Kali Strata Studio is on the ground floor of a thoughtfully restored neoclassical 19th century house that most likely belonged to a prosperous merchant. This beautifully designed studio apartment was recently renovated in 2022 preserving the original features of the space, but also incorporating stylishly updated and comfortable conveniences.
The Kali Strata or the “Good Street” connects the harbor or Yialos to the village or Chorio at the top. In the village there are two markets, two bakeries and a butcher. There are a also few restaurants; Kali Strata Restaurant, Georgio & Maria, Taverna Zoe, The Secret Garden and Scena, as well as a some bars and cafes. Down in the harbor there are several options to explore.
The Kali Strata Studio is located about 220 steps up from the harbor, and cannot be accessed directly by car so there will always be some walking involved. Another option is you can be dropped off by bus or taxi at the village above the house and walk down about 35 steps. It is about 100 steps to walk up to the village at the top.
