Wake up to stunning views over historic Vathy harbor, chill under the grapevine in the mature terraced gardens, then wander the few minutes down the old steps to the boutiques and tavernas by the sea. Old wooden beams. the high ceiling and amazing views inspired the name Asteraki (little star in Greek). A quiet, car free, idyll to chill, relax and explore historic, unspoiled Ithaca. Free car parking near the bottom of the steps
The villa manager will be on hand to greet guests and to support you throughout your stay.
Asteraki is in a quiet corner of Vathy, Ithaca's main town. Walk up the steps from the harbour side and you are transported back in time to the whitewashed Greece of yesteryear. The view across Vathy's bustling harbour is stunning, yet walk up the steps and its tranquil and peaceful. In a few minutes, down the old steps and you are in Vathy harbour with it's traditional tavernas and boutiques. All in a few minutes. A car park is nearby for your hire or car. Or the main square is minutes away for taxis. Loutsa beach is 15 minutes walk away, or beautiful cove beaches of Filiatro and Sarakaniko are 40 minutes or a short drive or taxi away.
