GILDED PALMS VILLA is the home of Yandi Suyandi, a young Indonesian man in his mid-thirties who has had a dream of operating a world-class Bali accommodation for as long as he can remember. Yandi began his career as the Guest Services Manager at PESONA JAKARTA, an upscale accommodation in the Indonesian Capital. He later landed a position with INDOEXCURSIONS – an international tour operator based in Jakarta – where he served as its Indonesian consultant. He then moved from Jakarta to Bali to assist in the establishment of CHRIS’ CAFÉ - a trendy Café and Pool Bar – which he managed for its first two years of operation. Eventually, Yandi joined forces with a local investor to open GILDED PALMS – a Bali accommodation designed to meet every need of its guests under one roof – luxurious lodgings, world-class food and beverages, and unprecedented, behind-the-scenes touring opportunities. Today, Yandi serves as a wonderfully hospitable host for GILDED PALMS, offering guests a truly social setting where you can interact as freely and casually as you would in the humblest of homestays.
