2 Caragh Glen is a recently renovated holiday home in Killorglin, where guests can make the most of its garden and bar. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is set 28 km from St Mary's Cathedral. The spacious holiday home comes with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, bed linen, towels, a flat-screen TV with streaming services, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a terrace with garden views. Includes a livingroom with bar, 49"smart TV, soundbar, wood stove, leather sofa, Sofa-Bed fits 2 . The dining room is furnished in industrial style with a huge dining table. Lot’s of board games for the family, DVD’s and a PS 4 to let a rainy day pass quickly. We provide english, irish and german TV. The wooden floored kitchen includes a fridge/freezer, coffee machine, Nespresso machine, Paninipress, new glass-ceramic oven. On the groundfloor is a bathroom with a washstand and toilet. Also a bedroom with double bed and a dressing table. Washer-Dryer and sink in utility room. 2 more bedrooms are on the 1st floor. 1st bedroom has an en suite with washstand/shower/toilet, double bed and a dressing table. The 2nd bedroom includes 2 single beds and a desk. The upstairs bathroom has new shower, washstand and a toilet. The 1st floor is all hard flooring/tiles. To enjoy the sun you will find a huge wooden deck (60sq.yd), outdoor furniture, Gasgrill, firepit, gazebo, hammock and deckchairs in the backyard. Firewood can be purchsed nearby.
The house is located in a small living area, near Caragh Lake. Killorglin, home of the famous puck fair, with its pictureresque houses is 5 miles away, where you will find many restaurants, fast food places, pubs, Aldi, doctors, pharmacy and lots of other shops. Kerry Airport is 20 min. away. Killarney one of the main tourist attraction in Ireland is 12 miles away. There you can spend your time in a cinema, theater, restaurants, unique pubs, tourist attractions like Muckross House, Torc Waterfall, Ladies View and more. The Ring of Kerry and the Way of Atlantic pass by our house. Daytrips to Dingle, Rossbeigh Beach (10min away) Cork, Kenmare, Sneem, Tralee, Gap of Dunloe, Skelling Island are possible. Pack your Hamper (in the Kitchen) and explore the wonderful landscape. You can play golf, go hiking, fishing on the lake or looking for seashells at the ocean. In the evening you can enjoy reading in the hammock, have a barbecue or enjoy smorres with the kids at the fire pit. When it gets cooler just move under the gazebo and switch on the terrasse heater (Gas for the heater and grill needs to be purchased locally) .
