Located just 1.5 km from Killarney High Street, Gleann Fia Country House offers guests e car charging and free parking. Located on the river Deenagh with acres of wild garden. We are located at V93 XY01 on a country road with no footpath or lighting. Use of a car or taxi is advisable. The Guesthouse has a patio seating area and all guests rooms have scenic views of woodland or river. The bedrooms are individually decorated and has en suite bathrooms with toiletries. Rooms also offer satellite TV, WiFi and seating area. Breakfast served daily with freshly brewed Arabica coffee, loose-leaf breakfast tea and a buffet table with homemade breads, yogurts, preserves, honey, cheese, cereals, fresh fruits and juice. A cooked to order breakfast is also available. The conservatory has a honour bar system and complimentary Nespresso coffee, tea and biscuits for our guests. There is also a CD music collection, library and classical movies on DVD for guests to enjoy. On arrival guests are given a 10 minute introduction to the Country House, the area of Killarney and County Kerry. Gleann Fia Country House is just a 10 minute drive from the shores of Lough Leane, Muckross House and the National Park.

Located 2 km from Killarney Town center we are situated on acres of gardens with river and woodland. Our guest lounges & conservatory with a Reading, CD and DVD classical movies library All our guestrooms are overlooking our natural surrounds.
My wife Bridget and I have been in the Irish Hospitality business for the past 30+ years, seeing many developments and changes in the industry over the years. Coming from a fully serviced Hotel Management past, we purchased "Gleann Fia" Country House an Irish Tourist Board registered 4 star Guesthouse in 2001.
Living in the South West of Ireland, and on the door step of Killarney Town and National park, to include, Muckross House and Gardens, Muckross Abbey, Torc Waterfall, Ross Castle, the Lakes of Killarney. The scenic driving Peninsulas of Dingle, Ring of Kerry and Beara and of course The famous Gap of Dunloe. Local activities include, Golfing on World renowned parkland and links courses. Scenic driving, Hill walking, Horse riding, River and lake fishing, Cycling.
