Featuring a garden and views of inner courtyard, Markree Courtyard is a bed and breakfast situated in a historic building in Collooney, 13 km from Cathedral of Immaculate Conception. This bed and breakfast offers free private parking and a housekeeping service. The bed and breakfast features family rooms as well as facilities for disabled guests. This is a lovingly and extensively converted stable block dating from approximately 1820 situated along the Wild Atlantic Way. Markree Courtyard is a listed building and has been meticulously transformed from coach houses, horse stables, hay and grain lofts into stunning accommodation whilst painstakingly maintaining many of the original features that make this property so unique. Part of the hay and grain lofts have been converted to a non-generic Event Venue. This magnificent Gothic style building, with its old-world charm and elegance, offers guests a subdued relaxed environment with exquisitely eye-catching castellated exterior, whilst its crisp contemporary interior showcases a warm and cosy atmosphere. The careful attention to detail whilst decorating, allows every modern comfort yet holding its own unique place in preserving the history and heritage of this much-loved property. The Boutique Accommodation consists of Double, Twin, Family and Disability Rooms with free parking on site.
