5 km from Alcock & Brown Memorial in Clifden, Fernwood offers accommodation with access to a sauna. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the farm stay free of charge. Outdoor furniture is available for guests to relax or dine outside. All units comprise a seating area, and a fully equipped kitchenette with various cooking facilities, including an oven, a microwave, a toaster and a fridge. Units come with a kettle and a private bathroom, while some rooms also feature a patio. At the farm stay, every unit comes with bed linen and towels. Guests at Fernwood will be able to enjoy activities in and around Clifden, like snorkelling, cycling and fishing. We are always on hand and live on site should you need us. When you arrive you will let yourself in using the automatic keypad. We have very detailed instructions in the cabins to help you during your stay.

Our organic farm is on a 140 acre private estate comprising of native woodland and bog, on the shores of the Salt Lake. Walk out your front door to explore, in complete solitude, our 2km of woodland paths, the wonders of the Connemara bogland or relax in our newly constructed lakeside sauna house with plunge pool. You can chose to stay in our new refurbished Bothy conversion which is finished to the highest spec with underfloor heating, wood burning stove, sheepskin rugs and feather down duvets For the ultimate experience chose our luxury treehouse dome/tent or better again a Stilt House Suite with private wood-fired Swedish Hot Tub.
