This property is situated right in the middle of Katwali Village, Shangarh. And I came across this when I was strolling around village one snowy morning with my partner, Ridhi. It had a charm, calmness and the perfect village vibe and we found it really cute. Next thing we knew, we were turning it into a place that actually feels like home. And just like that, 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘔𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘗𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘦 was born.
Now, what does that mean for you?
It means you get to experience mountain life without selling all your belongings and moving here permanently (although, fair warning, the thought will cross your mind). It’s slow mornings, long walks that somehow turn into therapy sessions. It’s the kind of place where the mountains force you to slow down and politely remind you that half the things stressing you out probably don’t matter. Your biggest worry is whether you should take a nap or just stare at the view a little longer. We built this space so people like you—city-survivors, questioning all their life choices, overthinkers and serial trip-extenders—could come, breathe, and actually exist without a to-do list.
So come over, bring your best 𝘐 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘢 𝘣𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘬 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦 energy, stay a while, and see why people keep “accidentally” extending their trips. Just don’t say we didn’t warn you.
Doctor by profession, entrepreneur by instinct, and mountain lover by heart. I'm always chasing new ideas, new views, and the perfect cup of chai (which, by the way, tastes better at 7,000 feet). Life's too short to be filtered, so you'll find me saying it like it is-whether it's about business, photography, or why slow living is the real luxury. I came to Shangarh looking for a break, but instead, I found a home. Now, I'm building a space where others can find their peace and build a community.
I love DiYs, can eat almost anything non-veg-including eyeballs and
cockroaches-and, for some reason, I speak Chinese. My idea of fun is going on
walks to collect flower and make bouquets out of them. I also have two
published theses, not that it's ever helped me in real life :)
