We love to travel, eat good food, cook and bake, paint and play music. We love nature and normally if we have time we like to pick-nick. We have moved from the South of Iceland to the North and we don´t regret it. We enjoy living here in the North and receiving people from all around the world and serve them local food.

Klara´s Guesthouse used to be the old Post Office in town. The main floor housed the post office itself, now café Klara, and the second floor was the postmaster's apartment, now it's a guesthouse, with 5 rooms and 2 shared bathrooms. The guesthouse has a small kitchen with basic amenities.

The small town of Ólafsfjörður is an amazing place to visit, whether it be in summer or winter. The town, which is surrounded by majestic mountains all around and looks into one of the fjords of Iceland on the ocean side, has many things to offer. During summer it is either the place to go hiking, sailing, fishing or taking amazing Midnight Sun walks amongst other things or mountain skiing, cross country skiing, snowmobiling or taking beautiful Northern Lights trips up to the mountains or into the nearly uninhabited fjords.
