The 100-years old renovated house will be your raven nest. The furniture and decor has vintage and recycled details to support ecological trend. All things in the house have a history so please be aware about that, the place is more like your old home in the mountains, not modern hotel with high-tech decor. The house sitiated in a quiet place and in the same time close to the village that is why we cherish the silence during the nights.

Jon, the owner of Raven nest is a fisherman and lives all his life in Wesfjords, his motherland. He knows everything about the area and has a great interest in folklore, legends and developing the local culture.

The Raven nest is situated on the hill with a beautiful view to the fjord. This is the place where you could rest from your journey and have an encounter with local culture and heritage and be inspired by the wisdom of old folklore. Bolungarvik is a small fishing village with the stunning views to the Hornstrandir nature reserve, swimming pool is 300 m near the guesthouse, the sea is also nearby as well as restaurants in the town. Bolungarvik is situated in the remote Westfjords, approximately 12 km from local center - Isafjordur with airport.
