Our farm is located 12 kilometers away from the Town Egilsstaðir. We breed horses and also we have cottages for accommodation. It´s a quiet place and you will hear the birds in the night over the summer time, or over the winter time good conditions to see the Northern lights (Aurora). We try to keep it simple with our guests and give them all the privacy they need.

We are a married couple, Einar and Melanie. We have 3 children, two younger daughters 2 and 5 years old, and an 12 years old son. We have a small farm with 3 cottages for accomodation. We are breeding horses and we also keep our riding horses on the fields around the farm during the summer. Of course there is a dog named "Laila" living with us.

Not far away we have Hengifoss, wich is Icelands second highest waterfall. Dettifoss is 197 meters high and is a 40-50 minutes hike up to the waterfall. Many of our guests choose to go there. Ofcourse you can ask us for directions to any place nearby or travel tips.
