The Foreman house is a large authentic villa in the heart of Húsavík-town centre, named after the town local community leaders/foremans of past (Icelandic: Formanns-hús). Fully restored and elegantly furnished with eccentric decorations, this is a unique house mainly used as a functional family home and rented out as such. We love our house. We do not rent it for hosting wild parties but we really welcome guests that respect and appreciate our old house with all its history and character.
Our mission is simple: The Formans house is a family home most of the year and rented out as such. We are not a hotel. We rent out a few weeks not for big business - but simply to travel the world ourselves.

The Foreman house is located by the towns main street on a bank in the middle of town center, Húsavík. It has panoramic view of the harbour and Kinnarfjöll-mountains across Skjálfandi bay. Húsavík is Icelands most scenic costal town in the North of Iceland. Within 500 meters from the house you will find all of Húsavíks; s restaurants, the Húsavík Whale Museum is next door to The Foreman house, and Húsavíks famous wooden church is 200 m away.
