Host Review Score Elegant and modern apartment in Borgo Pio, in the heart of Vatican City, with an enchanting little balcony overlooking the majestic Saint Peter dome.
The flat is located on the second floor of a period building dated 1400, three hundreds meters away from the Saint Peter Basilica.
The place is fitted with air conditioning and it has been refurbished with exquisite taste and it is also enriched by the presence of an original beamed sealing.
The apartment includes:
- dining room/lounge,
- modern kitchen fully accessorized, with fridge, cooker, dish washer and washing machine,
- double room with double bed,
- large bathroom with a king size shower.
It offers also central heating/air conditioning, flat screen Tv (with satellite channels) and free Wi-Fi.
From the house, with a few minutes walking you can reach all the major local sightseeing: Vatican Museum, Saint Peter Basilica and Castel Sant’Angelo, that once was the first residency of the Pope. Crossing over Sant’Angelo bridge you can also get to Campo de Fiori, the oldest open market in town and now the focal point of the movida romana at night. Near by you’ll find Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, and The Spanish steps, whilst shopping in Via del Corso. Strolling down the iconic fashion street of Via Condotti , you could enjoy a coffe break at historic Cafè Greco, founded in 1760, and where the likes of Stendhal, Shopenhauer and many others used to gather before.
