L'appartamento è situato all'interno di un antico castellare risalente all'XI secolo, a pochi chilometri dal primo centro abitato, in zona collinare fresca e silenziosa. L'alloggio è stato interamente restaurato una prima volta nel 2007 rispettando lo stile e la storia del castello. Nel 2021 sono stati fatti ulteriori interventi di manutenzione. I nostri ospiti possono usufruire di un giardino privato con terrazza-solarium e arredamento da esterni.
Accogliere gli ospiti ci fa sentire bene: la casa e il giardino sono curati in modo da far sentire l'altro a suo agio. Trascorriamo il tempo coltivando le piante dell'orto e preparando cibi e marmellate che possono essere degustate durante una buona colazione in giardino. Amiamo camminare e fare il bagno nel bellissimo fiume Arno che, non lontano da noi, offre acque fresche e rigeneranti.
Il paese più vicino è raggiungibile sia a piedi che in auto o bicicletta. Si tratta di un caratteristico villaggio toscano di pochi abitanti che, tuttavia, offre diverse possibilità di mangiare in ristoranti tipici, fare una passeggiata e curiosare per negozi. La locale associazione di pro-loco mette a disposizione di turisti e visitatori numerose iniziative culturali e gastronomiche secondo un calendario stagionale.
