Ours is a small B&B, housed in a newly renovated apartment in a building of the early twentieth century which overlooks "Piazza Umberto", the elegance in Via Umberto. The location is strategic, just a few steps from the main tourist attractions of Catania, Villa Bellini from the Roman amphitheater in Piazza Stesicoro at Via Crociferi, and in an area where you can live the "movida" , a blend of magic atmospheres and Sicilian heat. Pubs, historic cafes and small restaurants populate the areas near to our B&B and create a unique atmosphere, ideal for young people and tourists of all ages looking to escape and relax.

We are a young couple with the desire to offer our guests a pleasant stay, a few steps from the historic center of the city. ​Giordano has many years of proven experience in this field, he deals with the front-office, back-office and online advertising. Very fluent English speaker. ​Simona is very good in preparing delicious cakes of all kinds, is responsible for serving breakfast and cleaning the rooms and restrooms.

Catania is a fairly large city, but our B&B is located in a central position, ideal for exploring all the places of interest by foot. A walk downtown starts along the stretch of Via Umberto I reaching Via Etnea, the main street of the city. There already is the green lung of the city, the historic public garden Bellini. Southwards the Via Etnea you have a general vision of the architecture of the city center: crossing Piazza Stesicoro with the Roman amphitheater ruins until you reach University Square with the beautiful 'Palazzo Centrale' and the charming courtyard of Vaccarini. Then you will reach the impressive Piazza Duomo with the Cathedral, the Town Hall, the Elephant Fountain - symbol of the city - and the Amenano Fountain overlooking the colorful fish market.
