In my home, located in the Celio district, just 5 minutes walk from one of the most visited monument in the world, the Colosseo, i rent out one room with ceiling fan and its own private bathroom. My home is in a condominium, so the possibility of potential noises coming from other apartments or adjacent buildings is not excluded. The Celio, is between the park of Villa Celimontana and the gardens of Colle Oppio. The neighborhood is very small but well-stocked: characteristic shops, coffee shops, restaurants, pubs, pizzerias, wine bars, supermarkets, pharmacy, ATM machine, banks and a market with a stand of fresh fruits and vegetables. We suggest you to try the famous pizza at "Li Rioni", the roman cooking at "Contrario" , "Bocconcino", "I Clementini", "Le Naumachie"; the wine bar at "Divinostilia" or "Contrario"; the ice cream at "Antica Gelateria De Matteis" . All the sites of historical interest can be easily reached by foot - the Basilica di San Giovanni, the Basilica di San Clemente, the Basilica di Santi Quattro Coronati, the Chiesa di Santo Stefano Rotondo, the Terme di Caracalla, the Circo Massimo, the Foro Romano, the Palatino, the Campidoglio, Fontana di Trevi, Piazza di Spagna, the Pantheon - while the rest of the city is well connected with two metro lines, by buses and tram or you can live the city as in "Roman Holiday"... renting a motorbike or a bike.
