At the gates of the Amalfi Coast, in the heart of the historic center of its first Vietri pearl on the Sea and a few km from Salerno, "The Key" is born. Located in the country's historic centre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997, at one of the highest points in the country, the B&B boasts a special location that gives the rooms breathtaking views, embracing the colorful dome of the 18th century. stilted Cathedral, alleys and small square typical of the area and offers the possibility of a stay in the sign of relaxation and discovery. You will find a relaxing and friendly atmosphere and attention to your every need that only a family structure can offer wishing us in this way to make each guest live a unique and unforgettable stay. The B&B "The Amalfi Coastal Key" is located in a restricted traffic area (not accessible to cars and motorcycle). There are two parking options: - free and public at 300 meters (availability and waiting times depending on the period); - private, by reservation (limited availability), at about 250 meters at a cost of 10 euros per day. - breakfast will be done at the bar
It is located on the third floor of a 1700s palace in the heart of Vietri's old town, in the small square from the parish of St. John the Baptist. In the immediate vicinity there are numerous restaurants, pizzerias, bars, grocery stores, newsagents and tobacco shops and of course little shops and ceramic shops for which Vietri is famous in the world. A 5-minute walk from the B&B is the bus stop, 10 minutes from the train station. A 5-minute walk away, the private garage and public parking. Vietri on the sea, called "the first pearl of the Amalfi Coast", is a weave between millennial history, culture with a strong identity and a refined but simple culinary tradition and characterized above all by ceramic tradition. A short walk from the B&B, we recommend visiting the parish of St. John the Baptist with the adjacent Arciconfraternita (when opened), the Pinto and Solimene ceramic factories, the Villa Comunale, the Manuel Cargaliero Museum specializing in contemporary ceramics, the Provincial Museum of Ceramics in the context of Villa Guariglia (5 min. by bus) will be an experience full of emotions, here examples of ancient ceramics
Vietri's strategic location on the Sea makes it easy to get to the sites of greatest tourist interest by car and public transport. The bus stop is only a 5-minute walk away and the train station 10 minutes away. Salerno 10 minutes by car (15 by bus); Pompeii 25 minutes by car (35 by train); Amalfi 45 minutes by car (55 by bus); Naples 45 minutes by car (1h 20m bus/train); Vesuvius 40 by car; Paestum 50 minutes by car (50 by train); Caserta 1 hour by car (1h 10m by train). In addition, from the nearby port of Salerno you can board for Positano, Amalfi and the islands of Ischia and Capri thanks to frequent ferry trips.
