Breakfast at the Mitterplatt Hotel is a buffet of sweet and savoury food including cold meats, cheese, fresh eggs and homemade cakes. The menu features Italian and South Tyrol specialities. Set at an altitude of 650 metres, this family-run hotel offers panoramic views of Schenna and the vineyards and mountains. It offers free bike rental and a lounge bar with a fireplace and selection of books. The wellness facilities include a new panoramic vineyard sauna, a steam bath, an infrared brine sauna, and a hay relaxation room with loungers. There is also a brine indoor pool and outdoor pool, both open all year round. Free parking is provided and the nearest bus stop is 50 metres away for buses to the Schenna ski lifts and Merano centre, 5 km away.
