Hello, we introduce ourselves: we are Arbia and Roberto, the people who manage the structure and will welcome you on your arrival. One of our greatest passions is cycling, every day to go to work we cycle about ten kilometers, we love the feeling of freedom that comes and that mix of contentment and satisfaction that remains in the mind (they say that they are the endorphins produced by our organism). We like to go around the city by bike, we always recommend this kind of experience because it allows you to get anywhere in no time, no parking problems and no restricted traffic zones. It 's so that you can discover fascinating glimpses or quaint shops and restaurants. Our greatest satisfaction? It took a year and a half of research to find the perfect location where to give birth to Rome To Stay. We had two clear targets: the first was to be close to the central station of the city to facilitate the arrival of guests traveling from the airport or by train but also for the convenience of having direct links with all parts of the city. At the same time, however, we wanted to stay out of the chaos of the streets immediately adjacent to the station. When at the end of 2014 we went to see the property it was love at first sight. The front door of RTS overlooks a tree-lined avenue with a wide sidewalk and in the background the beautiful Basilica of Saint Mary Major, Termini station a few hundred meters away and the Coliseum reacheable within 15-minute walking. The place was what we dreamed, there was no doubt. The rooms belonged to a 3 stars hotel and were classically furnished then we wanted to give a touch of familiarity with bedspreads, headboards and modern pictures while the bathrooms were already perfect. This is Rome To Stay, a simple, informal place where you can feel at home with all the amenities.

The district, in addition to its strategic location for direct links to the airports and all over the city, offers many things. Historically we have the Basilica of Saint Mary Major (440 AD) whose dungeons are home to remnants ranging from I to IV century AD, the Basilica of Saint Praxedes (780 AD), with its splendid mosaics of the IX century and the church of Saint Mary of the Angels with its historic sundial that around 12: 00/13: 00 still marks exactly stellar conjunctions and zodiac signs. Always very close and within walking distance is the popular Monti district where there are quaint shops and numerous trendy bars and restaurants; it’s recommended ‘Black Market’, a brewery in vintage style with great music, where you can also enjoy delicious herb teas. And last but not least, the convenience of having all kinds of services at your fingertips, like a very large supermarket, all kinds of shops, shipment service, laundries, street food etc. etc.
