In the heart of the ancient district, a world heritage site, 200 meters from the cathedral, the Thymus Residence nei Sassi awaits you with a passion for the places found. Spacious rooms made of typical tuff and stone houses, furnished with the warmth of reclaimed solid wood without neglecting comfort and technology. In fact, all rooms have air conditioning, WiFi, satellite TV, kettle and, of course, a private bathroom. Some rooms also have a seating area for total relaxation or for use as a comfortable executive corner. Matera to live in every room and all around thanks to the splendid panoramic terrace that gives guests views of the city. The location is also ideal for urban hiking and biking. Thymus Residence nei Sassi provides a bike rental service but, even on foot, is only 300 meters from the MUSMA museum and 600 meters from the Tramontano Castle. Local and typical restaurants in the surroundings are numerous. A few meters from the Casa Di Ortega, from the Monastery of Sant'Agostino with its dominant and panoramic position and with the underlying small green area equipped. Numerous tourist routes develop in the Ragratela dei Sassi and not least the route that puts the adjacent Parco delle Chiese Rupestri and della Murgia into communication with a Tibetan bridge that crosses the Gravina stream.
