White House Onsen Guesthouse is located between Noboribetsu and Shiraoi, which is a famous hot spring area with natural hot springs of excellent quality. So the most distinctive feature of our guesthouse are two separated indoor public hot spring pools for men and women, and guests who check in can enjoy the excellent natural hot spring for free. The hot spring water is kept flowing all year round, and the water temperature can be naturally maintained at about 48°C. White House Onsen Guesthouse is decorated in a traditional Japanese style, so most rooms are Japanese-style rooms which are traditional Japanese tatami mats. And in order to meet the needs of guests who prefer beds, we still remain 3 rooms with beds namely Western-style rooms. The shared areas of the guesthouse are spacious and functional. We provide free Wi-Fi, kitchen, dining room, living rooms, tatami living area, office area, reading area and veranda. We also have a irori (囲炉裏) in one of our living room which is a traditional Japanese sunken hearth fired with charcoal. The whole house is made of wood, so smoking indoors is strictly forbidden!!! You can smoke outdoors. There is a maximum occupancy limit for each type of room, please check carefully when booking. We do not have extra bed service. Laundry services are available at an additional charge, you can ask the owner for the price list. You can use kitchen appliances such as refrigerators, microwaves and electric kettles for free. Due to the impact of the latest H1N1 flu outbreak, we have temporarily suspended our kitchen cooking service. In view of the recent occurrence of children wetting the beds, resulting in the loss of some futons and mattresses, therefore, children under the age of 6, please make sure your kids do not wed the futon and mattress. All the additional charges are only accepted by cash. Because of local weather getting hotter and hotter every year, we've already installed air conditioners for each room!!

White House Onsen Guesthouse is located beside the National Highway 36 and closed to the sea, the other side of the National Highway is the Pacific Ocean. The transportation is extremely convenient. White House Annex is 5.9km away from Noboribetsu Railway Station, 14km away from Shiraoi Railway Station. There are many famous tourist attractions nearby. Our house is 15km away from National Ainu Museum which takes 20 minutes by car, 13km away from the famous Noboribetsu Hell Valley which only takes 18 minutes by car, 8.8km away from Noboribetsu Date Jidai Village Theme Park, which takes 14 minutes by car, and 5.7 km away from Noboribetsu Marine Park Nixe, which takes only 8 minutes by car。 Also There are many restaurants and seafood markets within walking distance, such as cafes, ramen restaurant, seafood restaurants, and izakayas, etc., and 900m away from our house are the famous local seafood markets - Kani Goten which means the palace of crabs and Maruyoshi Suisan(seafood market), where you can buy local fresh, seasonal seafood such as hairy crab and a variety of sea crabs and fish.
