Great location. Delicious and very big portion of meal. We paid extra for snow crab and it was all worth it. The hotel itself is nicely decorated in a traditional way. We enjoyed onsen hopping since the hotel is close to everything.

Beautiful, very zen hotel, with 5-star staff, service and food. All the traditional ryokan elements with a touch of class, modernity and refinement. Super well located for the 7 onsen - close to Goshono-yu, our favourite! Food was stellar! Thank...

We liked the friendly and tentative staff; ones at the front desk, dinning room, and especially the one who helped each of us to put on kimonos.

It has 7 famous sotoyu (communal bathhouses). ■There are several other hot spring towns in Japan, but very few have so many public bathhouses of varying style in such close proximity. ■All 7 of the onsen bathhouses can be walked to from the other.
