Opened in April 2017, Hotel Ms Est Shijo Karasuma is conveniently located a minute's walk from Shijo Subway Station and Karasuma Station. There is free WiFi throughout the property and a 24-hour front desk. Air conditioned rooms with modern decor are equipped with a flat-screen TV, refrigerator and electric kettle. The en suite bathroom has a bath and hairdryer. Free toiletries include shampoo, conditioner, body soap and toothbrush. For guests' comfort, slippers and nightwear are provided. All rooms are non-smoking. Restaurants, cafes, and a department store are located within a 5-minute walk. Nishiki market is also a 5-minute stroll from the property, where guests can find local foods and specialties from over a hundred shops. Nijo Castle is an 11-minute bus ride from the property, while Kinkaku-ji and Ginkaku-ji can be reached within a 30-minute bus ride. Gion District is an 18-minute walk away and Kiyomizu-dera is a 28-minute bus ride and walk away. Kyoto Station is 6 minutes by train and Osaka International Airport is approximately a 60-minute drive away.
