A self contained ensuite room in a modern, spacious, self catering Caribbean home in the authentic fishing village of Laborie. Traditional 'Jalousie' wooden doors open onto a balcony. The rear of the property overlooks the bay. The safe, quiet sandy beach is less than five minutes walk away - where you bathe, stroll and enjoy a cool drink and local food.Relax on our balcony and enjoy the cool breeze and the sound of the waves from the Caribbean Sea. This is a home with a sea view and direct access to the road through Laborie village. There is a shared spacious living dining room which opens out onto the balcony. The ensuite bedroom has a ceiling fan and balcony.
You can hear the fisherman sound the conch to hail the arrival of their catch - an early morning wake up call from the local rooster or the horn which sounds the arrival of the bread van or you can try out the local creole bread straight from the oven.
The double ensuite room is in a self catering house in the lovely village of Laborie. An open plan living room with a fully fitted kitchen leads onto another balcony.
Helen is your host and will welcome you, ensure your comfort and respond to any questions about the home, local transport and amenities.
The village is a place to escape from the hustle and bustle. If you enjoy a relaxed walk on a beautiful unspoiled beach or a swim in the turquoise water of the Caribbean Sea this is a perfect spot for you. A cool drink and a fish meal are on your doorstep. At the weekend you can join the locals as they party the night away!
The surrounding countryside is the ideal backdrop to explore the flora and fauna of southern St Lucia.
