Ancient Tree is an authentic family run guest house. It has a very peaceful atmosphere and rooms are set within an amazing quiet and natural environment. Rooms have beautiful antique furniture and have large clean wet rooms. Triple room, quadruple room with balcony and triple room with balcony have hot showers. The other rooms do not have heated water but in Sri Lankan weather this can be nice too. This guest house does not have AC but all rooms have fans/ceiling fans and mosquito nets. Authentic Sri Lankan Dinner can be made at your request for a very reasonable price compared to local restaurants. Breakfast is included in the room price and you can choose from traditional Sri Lankan breakfast or a western breakfast of toast, fruits and tea or coffee. We can organise tours, bikes and airport pickups at your request - just let us know and we will do our best. In the natural gardens you can see many birds, chipmunks and other interesting Sri Lankan inhibitors of our beautiful country. We look forward to welcoming you to our home.

Ancient Tree guest house is 5 minutes away from the beach but far enough away that you don't hear any sound except nature - it is a very quiet neighborhood. The guesthouse is set within nature and is very close to a wonderful holistic spa. There is a beautiful temple a short walk away where you can enjoy morning and evening yoga/meditation and fantastic views of Mirissa beach and the surrounding areas. See You Soon :)))))
