Set amidst a natural landscape, Back of Beyond – Pidurangala offers a peaceful getaway in Sigiriya. Just 1 km from Sigiriya Rock, this property features free Wi-Fi, free parking and a natural setting in the middle of a forest. Rooms come with traditional interiors and wooden furnishings. A private bathroom comes with hot and cold shower facilities. A fine selection of local and Western dishes are served at the restaurant. Recreational choices include a cycling or hiking trip. Guests can go on a bird watching excursion or elephant watching safari to Minneriya or Kaudulla National Park. Back of Beyond is a 30-minute drive to Dambulla Town. Katunayake International Airport is approximately 3.5 hours away by car.

Please note that driver's accommodation is available for USD 10 per night.
Please note that a non-refundable deposit of 50% will be charged from the credit card (Visa or Mastercard) within 30 days of arrival. Please note that a 3% fee will be charged on all credit card payments. The balance has to be settled at the lodge in cash (USD, Euro or Sri Lankan Rupees), as the property does not accept card payment, or we shall collect the balance payment from your card on your arrival or 7 days before your arrival date from the head office.
Please note that the property can arrange for a pick-up from Sigiriya or an intermediate point at an additional cost of USD 7 for one way.
Please note that the property recommends that the guests arrive before dark (6:00 p.m.) and use an elevated vehicle as the last stretch of the road is bumpy.
Please note that by making a reservation, you would be entering a wildlife area and staying on an unfenced property. The stay or tours conducted might bring you into contact with or vicinity of wild animals (including snakes, spiders, wild boars, elephants, etc.). Back of Beyond staff members, associates, and/or agents cannot be held liable for any encounters involving the behavior of wild animals. The stay and entry into the wildlife area and Back of Beyond are at your own risk and responsibility.
