The Bananaa Rest Hotel is nestled in the cultural triangle and provides accommodation to guests in a charismatic countryside atmosphere. Our accommodation is designed similar to the setting of a rural village where the cabanas are in a cluster formation which gives an air of closeness. The Bananaa Rest has the ideal setting for family outings, family reunions or even if you want to relax with your beloved in a charismatic environment. You will no doubt enjoy the chirpings of the many birds who are inconspicuously hidden among the branches of the mango trees that surround the beautiful cabanas.
The Bananaa Rest Hotel is situated on a 15 acre land in the environs of the most historical landscape of Sri Lanka and amidst the serenity of Kibissa tank in Sigiriya a fine part of Sri Lanka’s heritage, where the natural habitat of our country is projected through a lush environment to give guests tranquility and peace of mind and relaxation which is what you need. It also offers guests an abundance of nature where over 70 varieties of birds with their different styles of chirping create an atmosphere that is so natural.

There are lot of places anyone can visit from our hotel. The rock Sigiriya, Pidurangala, Dambulu Viharaya, Ritigala, Kandalama, Minneriya wewa, and Kaudulla national park are situated in between kms. So that, it doesn't take much time and money, to travel more places you want to visit. And also you can get more experiences.
Frankly, I love to visit Kimbissa wewa, which locates near the Banana. It's very calm and quite place. So I can here birds' voices and also observe the nature. I really love that place because it makes me more relax and by observing the nature, I feel like it gives me a new spirit. So i love to observe the nature. Other than go for visit, there're some activities anyone can do. Such as; boat riding, fishing, jeep safari, bicycle safari, cart safari, birds watching, and evening entertainment activities. I really love to do these activities. While visiting places you can go for wood carving, spice garden, ayurvedic spa, batic factory. So I love Sigiriya.
