I am Rameshkanna, the owner of Dyke rest and together with me, my valuable team who makes this property a success. Since childhood, I have been passioned towards culinary and hospitality. Together with my Accounting background, I have learned many culinary mananagement techniques through my Diploma at Niagara College in Canada which enhance and meet the standard in the field hospitality.
Our key value is to treat the customers with respect , friendliness and kind, which help the custmers to feel that they are at home. We also provide excellent customer service to our guests who come to spend their time at our resort. We, as a team try our best to meet their needs and wishes during stay. We also ensure our guests have peaceful, restful, homely and enjoyable stay.

Dyke Rest is located in heart of town in Trincomalee. All access are in close proximity. The famous, well known historical Koneswaram temple is located in high rocks. Dyke rest is just on the private, calm and clean sea beach is adding great value to the property. The upper top floor wooden rooms and balcony provide great sea view, the guests could enjoy sunrise, sunset, traditional fishing and the beauty of the beach while enjoying their breakfast, tea and meals all day long. Out moto is " Yours satisfaction is our contentment". Accordingly, we, as a happy team ensure that our guests have peaceful, restful, homely and enjoyable stay. Dyke rest is been upgraded with downstairs bathrooms and rooms with tiles and new fittings recently. Every year the facility is upgraded All property is fully tiled, carved with woonden frames, bathrooms are newly equiped with new accessories.The backyard beach is arranged with wooden relaxation chairs where guests could enjoy the real beauty of the sunset/ sunrise daily during their stay. Fresh sea food is cooked and served right on the beach. Served with full breakfast provides our customers with real satisfaction which gives us contentment

Our neighborhood is town and people are very friendly and respectful.
Dyke street is famous for guests and hospitality is one of the key for success in Sri Lankan Tourism industry.
It's a location where our guests could easily access to beach, market, railway station and bus stand. Above all, the very famous historical temple is in walking distance. Ford Fredrick,china bay, natural harbour and natural seven hot wells are few kilo meters away.
Trincomalee is a beautiful town where Prima ceylon limited and the natural harbour is located along the sea shore.
